Some Reflections

Hi all! This is the last post. In general, this semester has been quite difficult for me, firstly due to the current situation of the pandemic and secondly because I have been locked up at home for several months. In addition, I consider that the university load continues to be high, despite the fact that in some subjects the contents have decreased considerably. It is very difficult for me to organize my study schedule and to be able to concentrate, it is as if I spend all day in my bed with a computer, that is exhausting me. Regarding the good things, it is spending time with the family because I don't live in Santiago. I feel more accompanied and I don't have the worries of living alone in the capital. My achievement has been not having grades below 4 (until now), that leaves me calmer. I have met many people online and that has made me very happy. Your favorite book

Hello classmates! Today I will tell you about my favorite book. It's called "Love in the Time of Cholera" by the Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez. The story is about a woman and a man who met at an early age and who after 50 years were able to realize their love, going through different adversities. I like to read various books, but without a doubt I prefer Latin American literature. This is why Gabriel García Marquez is one of my favorite authors, since his stories reflect the characteristics of Latin American society and environment, specifically the Caribbean. The last book I read was "La Peste" by Albert Camus, a French-Algerian writer known for his pessimistic philosophy. The story takes place in a city in Algeria, where such interesting events do not occur.
